KeyFinder analyzes a song, sample, or beat and estimates its musical key, major or minor scale, BPM, and Camelot code for harmonic mixing.
The Camelot Wheel maps all 12 major and minor keys to an 8x8 grid (e.g., "11B" for G major). Makes key mixing intuitive — keys that share a row or column are compatible.
Uses 16K FFT with harmonic weighting on bass frequencies (80-200 Hz weighted 2.5x). Accuracy is approximately 90-95% on well-recorded, tonal audio. Results are best on full mixes, not isolated instruments.
